WHAT'S NEW

Jay represents the third generation of Byrnesinvolved in the operation of the Byrnes Agency.
During his more than three decades of leading the agency, Jay has collaborated with his team to grow the Byrnes Agency to 32 employees, making it the largest family owned Insurance Agency in Eastern Connecticut.

He received his degree in History from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.

Volunteer Experience Or Leadership

Jay is a past President of the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, and past President for the Nexsure Users Group. He has also been privileged to serve on many carrier agent councils. He has been a member of the Putnam Rotary Club for over 30 years being named as a Paul Harris Fellow along the way. Jay resides in Woodstock, Connecticut, with his wife,Susan. They have three children, Victoria, Jack, and Abigail.
