SAS is a new Academy for Saxophone students, created and directed by internationally acclaimed saxophonist, Jay Byrnes. The concept of the school came from Jay's involvement in music education throughout Europe and South America. Throughout Jay Byrnes' four and half year musical career in Europe and South America he participated in many different approaches to peripatetic (private) teaching, and with this experience Jay has created this Academy for Saxophone here in Sydney, taking what he believes is the best parts of musical education throughout the world.
